In the last couple of months, we’ve had the honour of partnering on two exciting events with the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) and the Women in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): the LAZ Annual Marathon and the Women in ADR’s 5th Anniversary celebration. We’d like to thank both organisations for allowing us the opportunity to give back to the law society in an impactful way.
Participating in the LAZ Annual Marathon was a great reminder for us of the importance of maintaining healthy habits in the legal profession. In a field where the demands are high, both mentally and physically, it is essential to prioritise wellness. The marathon provided an opportunity for us, along with fellow legal practitioners, to demonstrate our commitment to a healthy lifestyle. We believe that taking care of our physical health enhances our capacity to serve our clients effectively, with greater energy, focus, and resilience.
The Women in ADR’s 5th Anniversary was not just a celebration of an organisation’s milestone but a testament to the progress and empowerment of women in the field of alternative dispute resolution. As advocates for gender equality and the empowerment of women in the legal profession, we were proud to support this momentous occasion. The growth of women in ADR over the past five years highlights the increasing influence and contributions of women in shaping the future of dispute resolution in Zambia. We are committed to continuing our support for initiatives that advance the representation and success of women in our industry.
At Malisa and Partners, we understand that meaningful partnerships are essential for driving positive change, fostering innovation, and achieving success. Our collaboration with LAZ and Women in ADR underscores the value of partnerships in business and beyond – these collaborations enable us to combine our strengths, share knowledge, and work towards common goals. We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside these esteemed organisations, and we look forward to future collaborations that will continue to benefit our profession and our community.
